According to the Oxford English Dictionary, Insomnia is defined as “un-restful sleep.” So, to put it simply, Insomnia is a feeling of being “sleep-deprived” – but of course, no one is sleep deprived. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, a sleep-deprived person is someone who wakes up at night from time to time for no particular reason. So, what is Insomnia Meditation? How is it different from other forms of meditation?
What Is Insomnia Meditation?
The way meditation is normally described is that it is a very focused and concentrated form of quieting the mind. If you look at the way in which meditation is usually performed, it is usually not very popular with people. They find that they are more relaxed while meditating, but that the feelings of stress and tension do not disappear.
In a modern-day example, what would you think about when someone was very tired? What is the first thing that comes to your mind? This is a very common question. And when you think about it, when you become a chronic insomniac, you really do experience the same thoughts.
A very popular meditation in the Western world is Zazen, which is often translated as “calm”. This word is sometimes used to describe other states of relaxation. But it has been adapted to represent the stress-relieving state that meditation is all about.
The mind tends to focus on a certain state of mind. For example, when you have a lot of stress and tension in your body, you become a chronic insomniac. It is when the mind stops focusing on the present that the symptoms of insomnia appear.
If you want to stop getting the symptoms of insomnia, then you need to stop focusing on your mind in everyday life. When you are constantly thinking about the past or the future, and you are constantly worrying about something – even if you know that it is a load of rubbish – you create a state of anxiety. This anxiety will keep you awake at night and make you feel tired and restless.
This habitual state of anxiety is the one that is actually leading to Insomnia. You need to try and shift the “mental focus” of your mind away from thoughts. Thoughts about your work, your family, and things that you have in your life that you have no control over.
My Experience On Insomnia Meditation
When I first heard about Insomnia Meditation, I thought that it sounded like meditation without the focus of quieting the mind. However, it turned out that this type of meditation is a whole new way of meditation that is focused on calming down the mind. It is actually quite amazing to see how far some people have come by taking this step.
What makes this a different and unique form of meditation is that it focuses on breathing to achieve a different effect than is possible through the traditional form of meditation. If you take a slow deep breath, it helps to allow your mind to relax. It can be very difficult to achieve through the regular form of meditation.
To achieve a better understanding of Insomnia Meditation, I recommend that you take the time to read the book by Craig Robinson. This book describes a non-meditation approach to improving your state of relaxation. It is an audio recording of Craig Robinson reading out loud, using only his voice, to help you achieve deeper, calmer sleep.
I know that I had to give up sleeping by attempting to use this strange way of breathing. Although I did not get any further than the first day, I was amazed by the improvement in my sleep. So I am very happy that I stuck with it!
